The Physician Mortgage Loan Program substantially decreases the down payment amount for the borrower to as low as 0% down. Below is a table that outlines the down payment amount needed, which is based upon the amount of the mortgage loan. Physicians in residency, with loan amounts of up to $225,000, may finance closing costs up to a loan-to-value maximum of 105%. Gift funds are allowed.
