What is the Role of a Commercial Bankers?

A commercial banker essentially runs his or her own business inside of the bank – operating with significant autonomy and authority with access to a large, experienced team and deep financial resources. They work with businesses and help guide them to success. They are highly trusted advisers to clients, offering sophisticated financial solutions to help business owners and executives achieve their financial goals. Commercial bankers are leaders in their communities, providing capital to businesses to fund operations, purchase equipment, hire staff, and take advantage of new growth opportunities. A successful commercial banker makes a difference in the lives of clients, their families, and employees. Hickory Point Bank’s Commercial Banking Officer Development Program provides a comprehensive framework to effectively prepare you for your career as a commercial banker.
